Fall Happenings

Fall brings another group of new Journey students for Camp Bighorn! This year, we have 11 students and 1 R.A. We are excited to see this program growing! The students have learned how to rock climb, kayak, whitewater raft, and backpack. They have also been attending classes on spiritual growth and personal development. Lastly, Journey (as well as some of our staff) went to Costa Rica for a two-week cultural trip. In the past, we have done an international trip in the second semester; but we decided to try it in the first semester this year. These trips are a great community building experience, and we want that to occur sooner in the year. Journey has a few weeks left before taking a break for the holidays. The fall always flies by!

Celebrating 40 years of Camp Bighorn!

‍This October, we celebrated 40 years of God's work here Camp Bighorn! We had a big birthday bash complete with adventures, a bouncy house, dinner, and fireworks. Through both photographs and stories, we celebrated God's faithfulness. We are humbled that God partners with us to share His story with others.
