Why I am here

Why I am here

As a Journey student and summer lead, I experienced discipleship, fellowship, and the embodiment of God’s love first-hand. Camp Bighorn’s values align with my passions of pouring into others, showering them with Christ’s love through service, nature, and adventure.

Background

As a Coast Guard kid, Josh moved all over the country–from California to Virginia, then to Oregon and to Ohio! His parents introduced him to the outdoors early on through hiking, camping, and driving on National Forest trails. Additionally, he gained a deep love for God’s creation through the Boys Scouts and Trail Life. These organizations taught him how to use his love of outdoor activities as an avenue to invest in other people’s lives. After graduating high school, Josh came to Camp Bighorn as a Journey student. Now, he continues to invest in others by combining his love for Christ and the outdoors.
