Why I am here
Why I am here
I want people to experience the joy of knowing Jesus and the hope He brings; and I can do this at Bighorn through my God-given passion for others and for the outdoors. I want others to see Christ’s love through me so they can enter into a deeper relationship with Him as well.

Background
Celeste is from Stevensville, Montana, a few hours east of Bighorn. When she was younger, her family frequently moved around, living in a camper trailer. As a homeschooled kid, she was out in the woods as soon as her schoolwork was finished. She lived for the wild adventure of the mountains; and even when her family finally settled in a “real house,” the mountains still called to her. Because of this love for the outdoors, she attended a Christian camp for many summers as both a camper and a leader. Eventually, she found her way to the Journey program as both a student and later an intern. At Bighorn, Celeste combines both her love for the outdoors and adventure with her love for Jesus and others. Celeste has many varied interests beyond the outdoors–music, dance, photography, and rollerblading are just a few. However, her biggest passion of all is loving God and loving people. She enjoys spending the every day, ordinary time with people, celebrating the little and big things of life with them.
