Why I am here
Why I am here
God has given me a passion for outdoor adventure and using those experiences to teach people about God. I have a passion for building relationships and passing on to others what God has taught us. In working in camp ministry, I feel I am fulfilling the purpose for which God created me.
Background
Hailing from the Midwest, Matthew grew up camping all over the country with his family. He was first introduced to camp ministry when in college through Campus Crusade for Christ. He has worked for different outdoor ministries in both Colorado and Wisconsin. What appeals to Matthew about the deeply relational aspect of outdoor ministry is the way everyday experiences are used to teach others about God. He enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his family.
