Venture

The Venture program partners with local youth homes, therapeutic programs, inner city and rural after-school programs to provide avenues for character building in an outdoor/adventure context. Real experiences on the river, wilderness, and ropes course, engage students in a way that asks them to process life together--leading to healthy communicating, positive relationships, and critical thinking skills. Moreover, students are exposed to the Good News of Jesus Christ.

The heartbeat of the Venture Program is to move past stereotypes and serve those who are labeled. The fact of the matter is that we are all at risk. Each of us is one decision away from greatly impacting our life as well as the lives of those around us.

Lodging

Campers will be divided into groups of 8 with 2 adult leaders. This group of 10 will complete all activities and meals together while maintaining appropriate social distancing from other groups.

Meals

All three meals are prepared in our commercial kitchen and served inside the Lodge. The kitchen staff are careful to include a variety of foods, including gluten-free and dairy-free options. There is also a camp store where your camper can purchase snacks and soda.

Adventures

All the adventures are led by trained staff, with safety, team dynamics, and fun in mind! Rock climbing, ropes course, rafting, hiking, and stand up paddle boarding are some of the options. Each cabin group will receive a schedule of adventures for the week, and they will complete them together.
