Volunteer your summer and come serve alongside us! Here at Camp Bighorn we are intentional to step into relationship with everyone who comes on the grounds. During the summer, we have the opportunity to engage in the lives of hundreds of youth, adults, and families. As a Bighorn Summer Staff, you will have the opportunity and the responsibility to step up and let God use you to lead campers through a week of adventure camp. You will also have the opportunity to step into community with fellow staff as you seek to pursue growth in Christ Jesus. You may be serving as part of the kitchen team, tactfully escorting campers through adventures, walking alongside campers directly as a cabin group facilitator, or serving with our operations crew in keeping the property warm and welcoming to guests. Summer Staffers rotate between these roles throughout the summer, and we hope that you will see each opportunity as a way to be the hands and feet of Christ.
Joining our summer staff is an experience of a lifetime! We welcome applicants who are actively seeking to know God through His Son Jesus, wrestling with their faith and living it out in transparency. Ages 14 and up.
As part of your Summer Staff role, Camp Bighorn requires you to build a team of people who will pray for you and support you financially. We are inviting you into this process by asking you to raise $500 to cover your room and board for your summer of ministry. We will provide you with a step-by-step support raising guide and sample support letter in your Summer Staff acceptance packet.
Start the process: print and fill out an application & medical release form. If you're new to summer staff, print and send out 3 reference forms as well.

Interns will receive a $1,000 stipend for the summer. In addition to the stipend, we want to open up the option to raise additional financial support. We will provide you with a step-by-step support raising guide and sample support letter in your acceptance packet.

If you are a student looking for an internship placement, or desiring to volunteer with us for longer than just the summer, we have a couple options. A 2-summer internship or a fall and winter semester internship. To apply for an internship, download the application, fill it out, and mail it to us. The information you provide will help us determine if the goals and desires of your internship line up with our current ministry needs and openings.
