Training
Camp Bighorn now provides training in a wide variety of technical skills, beneficial both for those who enjoy the outdoors and those who are working to be an outdoor professional. Available training includes: WFR and WEMT through Wilderness Medical Associates, whitewater awareness, whitewater rescue, and whitewater kayak instructor training through the ACDA, and CPR and First Aid through the American Heart Association. We also teach avalanche awareness group facilitation courses, and more. CPR/First Aid
Certified EMT's at Bighorn will teach you the basics of CPR and First Aid, provide hands-on practice, and offer the appropriate tests to become certified. Offered twice a year for the public, and also incorporated into staff training.

Wilderness First Responder [WFR]:
WFR is a course designed to provide outdoorsmen with knowledge and experience in wilderness first aid and response. Students are given hands-on experience and be given the opportunity for certification.
