The entire Bighorn Staff is involved in the lives of "their" students.  They are your host homes, your comrades at meal times, and teachers for adventure activities. Reuben Stratford


Adam and Sheena, along with their kids, Zach and Sydney, joined the Bighorn team in 2017. Their passion is to equip kingdom leaders through relationships and shared experiences.  Adam has a Bachelor's in Bible, Theology, and Youth Ministry.  Sheena's Bachelor's is in Bible, Theology, and Educational Ministries.

Dr. Collins was the director of Camp Bighorn for 20 years, developing its current vision and mission. Along with his leadership and adventure ministry experience, he has a doctorate in Christian Leadership and absolutely loves to teach and challenge students to live out their responsibility as a member of God’s Kingdom.  Tom lives in town with his wife, Terry.

Reuben has been involved in adventure ministry for over 18 years at Camp Bighorn and has a masters degree in Spiritual Formation. He loves to challenge students, teach experientially, and help people to gain new perspectives.  He lives on site with his wife, Sarah, and 3 kids.


Abby Schmidt

Journey Facilitator

Abby grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and is excited about anything involving the outdoors, people, and coffee. She feels privileged to work with Journey this year! She's seen God work and move in very real ways through new and challenging experiences, and is excited to walk alongside students as they grow this year.

John Price

Journey Facilitator

John is a local Montanan.  He was a Journey student 2016-2017. He has a heart for discipleship and is excited to join the Journey staff.
