Activities

Are you ready to get out into God’s beautiful creation? Come experience the rugged beauty of Montana with us. We use outdoor adventure activities as a platform to facilitate discussion and reflection on Biblicical truths.

Common Activities

Most of our camps include a mix of the following activities. The level of challenge is scaled to be age appropriate, and there are several options to choose from within each of these activities. We provide all event specific equipment for our participants.

  • White water rafting
  • Rock climbing
  • Kayking
  • Mountain biking
  • Paddleboarding
  • Alpine hiking
  • Scenario based Search and Rescues
  • Team building initiatives
  • Ropes courses

In addition to our adventure activities, we also have more to do on our campus. These include swimming in the river (designated area), sand castle competitions, hiking trails, field games (soccer, softall, frisbee), children’s playground, carpet ball extreme, ping pong, campfires, and lots of space to spread out and relax.

Facilitated Adventures

We have been given an incredible resource through the location of Bighorn. We also have been given a mission to share the Gospel and to grow Kingdom leaders. To match this goal with our resources, we use adventure activities. Our staff lead each adventure activity, spending time as a small group talking through the event, what happened, how we responded to various fears/excitement/other people, reflecting on that in light of God’s Word and His character.

More than fun

We love to have fun. But we also love to dive deeper into an experience and learn something from it. So while we have a lot of fun in the outdoors, the reason we do these activities is much more purposeful. To get an idea of what this means on a practical level watch these short videos:
